What We Do

Intelligence activities: Detecting future trends and cultivating the seeds of business

Intelligence activities are analytical and advisory activities that broadly detect changes in markets, technology, and society in order to identify future business opportunities.
We gather diverse information such as trends, regulations, and startup movements, transforming it from mere data into organized insights that serve as material for business development decisions.

In order to interpret the future, we utilize TPESTRE (Tapestry), which organizes the external environment from seven perspectives: Technology (T), Politics (P), Economics (E), Sociocultural (S), Trust/Ethics (T), Regulatory/legal (R), and Environment (E). This makes it easier to identify medium- to long-term market changes and the seeds of new business.

A defining feature of intelligence activities is interpreting diverse information and, through repeated discussion, refining future business opportunities that can be put into practice—supporting new business exploration and strategy formulation, and preparing the organization for the future.
