Our open source activities

We regard open source as a foundation for innovation and emphasize not only its use but also active contribution to the community.

In terms of international OSS projects, such as Kubernetes, we have engineers who have been involved in community operations and technical contributions, continuing to work together with the global technology community. While we are currently in a transitional period regarding our roles, our initiatives to contribute to the open source ecosystem in new forms are expanding—leveraging our experience to date through actions such as being appointed as a TODO Group Ambassador under the Linux Foundation.

We are also engaged in developing open source talent, supporting the creation of environments where new contributors can take their first step through practical training such as "Kubernetes Upstream Training Japan." We are also proactive about participating in activities that spread the open source culture, including lectures, event cooperation, and community operations.

Going forward, we will continue to steadily sustain and develop our open source initiatives, accumulating practical experience so that we can deliver new value to society and our customers along with the evolution of technology.
